Sired by the remarkable Njord Halsnæs, Bjarte is a striking young gelding with the temperament and willingness that make Fjords such exceptional partners.
Bjarte is brave, calm, curious, and exceptionally people-oriented. He is usually the first one to meet you in the pasture, eager to be caught and go “play.” He genuinely enjoys training and approaches new experiences with confidence and a wonderful work ethic.
His education is well underway. Bjarte wears tack, has been long-lined, and has already attended his first show, where he competed successfully in the two-year-old in-hand division, including showmanship, halter, longe line, and In-Hand Trail. The trail class was the highlight for us. Bjarte had never seen anything like the course before, but he simply went to work—calmly and confidently tackling the unfamiliar obstacles put in front of him. Despite having never seen a course like it before, he confidently worked through the obstacles with ease—an excellent glimpse of the steady, thoughtful horse he is becoming.
Bjarte has all the makings of the versatile, calm, willing partner Fjords are known for. Whether his future includes trails, driving, dressage, working equitation, or simply being someone’s much-loved all-around horse, he has the temperament and foundation to go in many directions.

Fjellhest Lekenbjørn

Lekenbjørn has been retained as a stallion prospect thus far for one very compelling reason—his exceptional movement. He is an incredibly well-rounded young Fjord, combining a strong, substantial, correct build with expressive movement, large beautiful eyes, and a wonderfully easygoing temperament.
He has plenty of presence without being fine-boned, overly sporty, or flighty. Instead, Lekenbjørn is the kind of colt we love: confident, sensible, social, and naturally people-oriented. He is sweet, curious, easy to handle, and always happy to be part of whatever is going on.
His training is right where we want it for his age, with a solid foundation in everyday handling, leading, tying, grooming, hoof care, and age-appropriate new experiences.

Tulla is beautifully schooled with natural self-carriage. She goes reliably English or Western, and is confident and sure-footed on the trail solo or in a group. In the arena, she shows a steady connection, making her an excellent candidate for the rider who wants a safe yet rewarding partner. She has the foundation and movement to shine in the show ring.
Like all great Fjords, Tulla is kind, steady, and willing. She is tolerant and has safely carried beginners on the trail.
Tulla would not normally be offered for sale — she is only available to a non-breeding home. While she is not available as a brood mare, this creates a unique opportunity: a high-quality Fjord mare, with training, temperament, and talent, available exclusively as a riding partner.

Fjellhest Stødig

Stødig is a bright, confident colt with an exceptionally quick mind and plenty of personality. Brave and curious, he learns rapidly, thrives with clear expectations, and is developing into a kind, people-oriented youngster.
His dam, Lajoki, is one of the most treasured horses on our farm. Imported from Germany, she is athletic, forward, extraordinarily intelligent, and above all, deeply kind. She has that wonderful Fjord combination of a sharp mind and a generous nature—always willing to try, yet patient and caring with her rider. We already see many of those same qualities developing in Stødig.
His sire, Brigg's Sunnyside Nemo, comes from renowned Norwegian bloodlines and is a son of the multi-sport, talented, and versatile stallion Brigg, bringing athleticism, versatility, breed type, and an exceptional temperament.
