WHR Tulla

Born Apr. 27, 2011

Tulla is beautifully schooled with natural self-carriage. She goes reliably English or Western, and is confident and sure-footed on the trail solo or in a group. In the arena, she shows a steady connection, making her an excellent candidate for the rider who wants a safe yet rewarding partner. She has the foundation and movement to shine in the show ring.

Like all great Fjords, Tulla is kind, steady, and willing. She is tolerant and has safely carried beginners on the trail.

Tulla would not normally be offered for sale — she is only available to a non-breeding home. While she is not available as a brood mare, this creates a unique opportunity: a high-quality Fjord mare, with training, temperament, and talent, available exclusively as a riding partner.

$22,500

Coming Spring & Summer 2026

We are expecting five foals this season.

Perhaps your next best friend is waiting to be born!

More about
our Farm

At Fjellhest Fjords in the lush hills of northwest Oregon, we’re devoted to celebrating the timeless charm and versatility of the Norwegian Fjord horse. Our farm’s name — Fjellhest, meaning “mountain horse” — reflects our favorite way to escape: riding these remarkable horses into the quiet of nature.

Founded by Aletha Carson, DVM and Devin Roe, our farm is the result of a lifelong dream to raise, ride, and share this exceptional breed. With a foundation rooted in science, horsemanship, and heart, we carefully select for outstanding conformation, sound minds, and that unmistakable Fjord kindness.

Our breeding and training philosophy is simple: prioritize well-being, nurture potential, and let the Fjords do what they do best — shine in the show ring, carry families on the trail, and make lifelong partners.

We’re proud to share our love and knowledge of these special horses with others who value temperament, versatility, and that distinctive dun charm. Whether you're looking for your next trail companion or simply want to learn more, welcome to our herd..
